Fields of Mistria Town Repair and Rank

Use Fields of Mistria Town Repair Questline and Town Rank goals to decide what to store, deliver, and pursue next.

Town Repair and Town Rank are best handled as a storage and route problem. Read the current quest or town guide, identify the next visible milestone, and reserve only the materials that have a known job. The official 1.0 notes confirm that the Town Repair Questline can be completed, Town Renown reaches 100, and the Mistril Town Rank Event has been added. Older guides may stop before those milestones.

Version: Steam AppID 2142790 base game, public 1.0 branch, checked 2026-08-09. The official announcement proves the released milestones; exact thresholds and item requirements must come from the current quest log or game guide.

Find the next visible milestone

Open the current Town or quest guide before selling a new material. Record the name of the repair, rank event, or delivery, its visible requirement, and the location where the next action occurs. If the game has not exposed a requirement, do not fill the gap with a community guess. Mark the material as unassigned and keep playing a route that can produce it later.

Use Requests and Market when the board is the immediate source of renown. Use Bell Tower Story when the destination is locked behind a 1.0 story quest. The Town hub keeps these routes separate so a repair requirement is not confused with a vendor unlock.

Use three storage baskets

Keep an active basket for the item currently requested, a reserve basket for the next confirmed repair or rank goal, and a surplus basket for items you have checked against Museum, cooking, gifts, animals, and tools. The baskets can be physical chests or labels in your own notes. Re-sort after each completed project. A material that was scarce before a repair may become useful for a forge or a request after the unlock.

This method protects against two opposite failures. Selling everything produces a short-term cash boost but forces replacement trips. Hoarding every item blocks useful purchases and makes it difficult to see what the town actually needs. Keep a reserve because the quest is confirmed, not because an old guide says an item is generally important.

Renown and the daily route

Renown is earned through actions that advance the town, but the correct route depends on the current board and available season. Bundle deliveries with conversation, shops, or a Museum visit. If the requested item is not in storage, decide whether its source also helps a crop, fishing, or collection goal. If it does not, postpone the request rather than crossing the map for one low-priority reward.

A repair route should start after farm chores that cannot wait. Carry the delivery, a useful gift, and enough food for the optional activity you may add. Return before the end of the day to sort new materials. If a new Town event appears, read it before spending the reward from the old one; a milestone can change what tomorrow’s route should be.

Read the 1.0 boundary correctly

The official update’s Town Rank cap of 100 and completed repair line are full-release facts. They do not prove that an Early Access threshold, screenshot, or request list remains identical. The 1.0 notes also mention Saturday Market Plaza, Repair the Bell Tower, Mission Quests after unlocking Stillwell, and Crystal Resonators and Song Crystals from Zorel. Those are separate branches that can become available after town progress; do not collapse them into one requirement.

If a community table conflicts with the quest log, keep the table’s date and follow the game. If the game and a current official patch note appear to disagree, check Updates for a fix before assuming the save is broken.

Recovery after a missed delivery

If you sold the material, write down its next source and switch today’s work to farming, fishing, mining, or relationship progress. If a request expired, do not abandon the Town route; wait for the next board entry while protecting a small reserve. If a repair seems stuck, read the exact quest text and confirm whether the next action is a delivery, location interaction, or rank event. Do not enter an unreleased location through an old shortcut; v1.0.2 specifically fixed access around the Bell Tower.

The aim is not to finish every Town task on the first appearance. The aim is to keep each request from damaging the next route. The Farming and Collections hubs help replace items without losing the larger plan.

Sources and limits

Milestone facts come from the official Steam 1.0 notes, checked 2026-08-09. Product identity comes from the Steam Store. Thresholds and item lists are deliberately left to current in-game evidence.
