Fields of Mistria Requests and Saturday Market

Plan Fields of Mistria requests and Saturday Market visits around item sources, Mission Quests, vendors, and the day's other objectives.

Requests and the Saturday Market turn a town visit into a route decision. Read the board before selling, accepting, or cooking the requested item. Then decide whether the task is urgent, seasonal, or naturally combined with a farm, relationship, collection, or mine trip. The official 1.0 notes add the Saturday Market Plaza quest, Mission Quests after Stillwell is unlocked, Zorel’s Crystal Resonators and Song Crystals, and new requests.

Scope: Steam AppID 2142790 base game, public 1.0 branch, Windows and SteamOS + Linux. The 1.0 feature list is official; individual requests and availability should be checked in the current board.

Read a request before accepting it

Look for the item, recipient, location, deadline or schedule, and reward. If the item is in storage, mark it as active and plan the delivery with another town task. If it is seasonal, add the source to a future note. If the reward does not affect your current plan, postpone the request rather than spending a rare Museum or cooking item.

Use Town Repair and Rank when the delivery is part of broad progression. Use Crops and Seasons or Collections when the board points to a seasonal source. The decision is not “complete every request”; it is “complete the requests that improve the route I am already running.”

Plan a Saturday Market visit

Protect the Saturday date in your calendar, but finish morning farm and animal care first. Carry the active delivery, a gift or conversation plan, and enough storage space for a vendor item. Group the Market with other town actions so the trip does not consume the week. If a vendor or mission is locked, read the current town quest rather than following a route from before 1.0.

The official notes say Stillwell’s unlock opens Mission Quests at his Mission Board. They also say Zorel sells Crystal Resonators and Song Crystals after the relevant unlock. Keep those two vendor purposes separate: a mission board changes the type of work available, while a music item changes a customization option. Do not promise an item before the current market screen shows it.

Protect ingredients and collection items

A request can overlap with a gift, meal, tool, or Museum set. Before delivery, check the other destination and keep a reserve if replacement is difficult. If the requested item is common and the reward is needed, deliver it. If it is rare and the reward is cosmetic or optional, wait until the request’s value is clear. This makes the board support your save rather than control it.

If cooking is the planned route, confirm the recipe before consuming the item. If farming is the source, plant a small reserve rather than an oversized field. If fishing or archaeology is the source, combine the search with collection progress. The Farming and Collections hubs provide the adjacent routes.

Recover after a missed request

When a request expires, record the item and next source. Do not sell the replacement reserve immediately because the board may ask again. If the board seems to show a wrong unlock, check the 1.0.1 note about Crown Requests text and the latest Updates. If the Market interaction fails, confirm the date, quest state, and current patch before repeating a long route.

Keep a short board note with three labels: ready now, source this season, and future or unknown. Ready tasks can be bundled into the next town visit. Seasonal tasks can guide a farm or collection route. Future tasks should not consume a rare reserve. This makes the Market useful without allowing its rotating work to replace the main Town Repair or relationship goal.

When a Mission Board task appears, read its purpose and reward before treating it as a replacement for ordinary requests. Mission progress may be the right next goal after Stillwell is unlocked, but it can also compete with a Saturday delivery or a Museum reserve. Keep the two routes visible in your notes.
